You never really know what is going to happen through a whelping of a first time bitch
Amber whelped each of her pups in a different room of the house over a period of 11 hours
Except for one…..
Magnum was the last to be born, 4 hours after the 6th puppy
He was dropped on the icy cold grass, in a raging storm, his tongue was whilte, his feet were blue
Amber and I together made sure he stayed alive
He was the first to open his eyes, first to get onto his feet
First to stand at heel without a lead at 8 weeks old
For Ralph, Jag has changed his life
