Treble Cone Wanaka Opens 27 June 2009

Treble Cone is the home of New Zealand’s most exhilarating snow and winter experience, with the largest skiable terrain, longest groomed trails and the highest vertical rise in the South Island.

On the edge of the majestic Southern Alps, Treble Cone ski area offers outstanding views across Lake Wanaka and Mt Aspiring, an award winning cafe and unparalleled Snow School clinics that will keep you fizzing.

Treble Cone have introduced further benefits and savings for this winter, with very affordable snow sport programmes and free access to the lower mountain.

For the first time in Treble Cones history, the lower mountain learner lifts will be accessible at no charge all season long. This includes the Nice n Easy Platter and Magic Carpet which are located beside the ski area base lodge. Fees still apply for those who require hire equipment, lessons and chairlift access to the upper mountain.

Treble Cone will open for the 2009 winter season on 27 June (weather & snow conditions permitting).
